Furry Tails: Wally’s Searching For A Good Home
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I’ll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!
This laid-back, older gentleman will win your heart! Wally is looking for a quiet forever home where there’s lots of love and lots of room to sniff around!
Animal Friends says:
“Wally is a 10-year-old Lhasa Apso. He came to Animal Friends in April when his former owner was no longer able to care for him.
“Wally needs a special owner who can give him a quiet, adult-only home to spend his golden years. He has some skin and eye issues, which can be managed with a special diet and daily medication. He also has some vision loss, so he would appreciate a home with few stairs. Wally would make a wonderful companion for someone who can spend a lot of time with him.
“We have noticed that Wally really enjoys the company of other dogs. We think Wally would do well with another laid back dog or older dog in the home. However, this is not a requirement to adopt him.
“Wally has gone on walks offsite with some of his favorite volunteers. He loves riding in the car. He doesn’t need much exercise, but he enjoys being outside and taking his time sniffing. Wally knows his name, and he gets very excited and really perks up when he knows that he is going out.
“He has quite a personality and will easily win your heart. Please come to Animal Friends to meet Wally, he’s waiting to meet you!”
