Man Killed In Indiana Co. Accident

BUFFINGTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One man was killed in a Sunday morning crash in Indiana County.

According to police, the accident happened on Route 403 in Buffington Township shortly before 3 a.m.

The 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier went off the roadway, struck three trees and a ditch before coming to rest.

Clifford Norman McCachren III, 29, of Vintondale, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Indiana County Coroner, toxicology tests are pending, but alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
