McCutchen To Play, Pedro Out With Sprained Foot
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – As reported by 93-7 The Fan's Dan Zangrilli and others late Tuesday night, Pirates third baseman Pedro Alvarez was walking around PNC Park in a walking boot after suffering an injury in the game.
Manager Clint Hurdle described the injury as a left foot sprain between a couple of his toes.
According to a tweet from the Trib's Rob Biertempfel, Alvarez is still wearing the boot today.

Alvarez is batting .308 with three home runs and five RBIs over his last four games.
UPDATE: According to KDKA-TV's Rich Walsh, Andrew McCutchen will play this afternoon after leaving Tuesday's game with some rib discomfort.
Pedro Alvarez is out of the lineup with a sprained food.
