Best Case/Worst Case Scenarios For Steelers Upcoming Season

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With the 2014-2015 NFL season about to get underway, Elliot Harrison of NFL.com took a look at the best and worst case scenarios for all 32 NFL teams.

According to Harrison, the best case scenario for the Steelers actually looks quite good as he predicts an 11-5 record with a breakout performance by rookie Ryan Shazier.

On the flip side of things though, the worst case scenario for the Steelers has them looking at their first losing season during Ben Roethlisberger's tenure with a 6-9-1 record with Linebacker Jarvis Jones becoming a certifiable bust and Ike Taylor repeating his performance from last season.

One variable that could help the Steelers achieve their best case scenario is the recent year-long suspension that Browns star Wide Receiver Josh Gordon was handed down by the league.  Last year against the Steelers in two games, Gordon recorded 21 catches for 319 yards and one touchdown.
