PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – When the Pittsburgh Steelers take the field for their first game of the 2014 season against the Cleveland Browns, it appears Brian Hoyer will be who they face as quarterback.

But with a week leading up to the start of the NFL, it’s Johnny Manziel and his new Snickers commercial that is stealing the spotlight.

The Browns quarterback appears in a new “Eat A Snickers” commercial teaching a dance aerobics class as “Johnny JamBoogie.”

The quarterback is leading some ladies in aerobics when a player, who many point out was in the movie The Waterboy, and has the last name “Sandler” on the back of his number 96 jersey gives him a snickers candybar.

Browns new head coach Mike Pettine named Brian Hoyer the starting quarterback for week one against the Steelers.

Even though Hoyer hasn’t often looked as good as Manziel in two preseason games.

Hoyer has actually only completed 8 or 30 passes for 108 yards, with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Manziel has completed 14 of 27 passes for 128 yards, with one touchdown, and no interceptions.

Hoyer, however, has started both games and has five years of N.F.L. experience with the New England Patriots, the Arizona Cardinals and the Browns.

From the moment he was drafted, Manziel has been lauded as a potential savior for the Browns, who have not won a league championship in a half-century.

Little did Browns fans know they were hopefully getting a great quarterback, and a great dancer.

Although we’re hoping that the extra time as a backup quarterback will actually give Johnny JamBoogie a little extra time to work on his dance moves.
