PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Storms and showers are on the way after a muggy but calm start to the day.
KDKA Meteorologist Dennis Bowman says showers and a few thunderstorms will come and go, periodically, through the afternoon and early evening.
By late afternoon, some of the storms could contain heavy downpours and briefly gusty winds.
In poor drainage areas, some minor flood issues will have to be watched and there may be ponding of water on some area roads.
Today’s high is near 80.
The showers will end tonight and skies will turn partly cloudy.
But it will remain humid with a low of 62.
During the day on Wednesday, skies will go mostly sunny with a high of 81, and it will not be as humid.
