Man Arrested After Attempted Fayette Co. Super 8 Motel Robbery

SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) –A man has been arrested after an attempted robbery at a Fayette County motel early Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident happened at the Super 8 Motel in the 700-block of West Main Street in South Union Township just after midnight.

Courtney Amatuccio, 24, entered the motel with a black shirt over his face and demanded money from an employee at the front desk.

When he didn't receive any money, Amatuccio fled the scene toward Uniontown City and was later arrested.
