CBS Sports Analyst Tracy Wolfson: It Made Me Sick To My Stomach, It Was Horrific

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)- CBS Sports lead sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson joined "The Cook and Poni Show" to help preview the Thursday Night Football opener between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens on CBS.

Wolfson said that despite a big rivalry between the Steelers and Ravens, the lead story will be the release of the Ray Rice video. As a result of the video, Rice was released from the team and was suspended indefinitely by the NFL.

Wolfson said that the surveillance video from the hotel showing Rice striking his wife was sickening.

"I was watching it on the treadmill and I had to stop because I was sick to my stomach," Wolfson said. "I can never watch it again. It was horrific."

Wolfson also told the guys that it's a shame that this game may take a backseat to this story, but she is not aware yet of the plans on how the story will be covered and how much commentary she will be allowed to have.

"It's unfortunate that it took this video to come up with this punishment," Wolfson said. "There is no place for this in society, let alone in football."

Wolfson will serve as the lead sideline reporter for all Thursday night broadcasts with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms for the games airing on CBS and the NFL Network.
