Woman Accused Of Giving Boyfriend's Grandson Bloody Nose, Black Eye

ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) -- Police have filed charges against a Beaver County woman accused of punching her boyfriend's grandson in the facing, giving the boy a bloody nose and a black eye.

Stacey Golden, 30, of Aliquippa, is now facing charges of simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and harassment.

"I think she realized she made a huge mistake and she's got a right to a hearing," said Chief Barry Kramer, of Center Township Police.

According to the criminal complaint, the 9-year-old boy showed up at Todd Lane Elementary School this morning injured and the principal and a guidance counselor called police.

The criminal complaint reports the boy told his bus driver and school officials that "Golden punched him in the face because she was mad at her boyfriend."

"The suspect, Stacey Golden, assaulted the 9-year-old boy," said Chief Kramer. "The relationship from her to him is she is the girlfriend of the 9-year-old's grandfather."

The boy lives with his grandfather and the woman, investigators say.

The criminal complaint reports the bus driver told police that when he pulled up to the boy's bus stop in Center Township, "he could see Golden outside flailing her arms in an aggressive manor" while she was talking to the boy.

The child then got onto the bus crying and bleeding from his nose.

"She struck the boy at least once, if not more, and he sustained some minor injuries," Chief Kramer said.

Another student on the bus, according to the criminal complaint, told school officials about see the boy get punched.
