Car Slams Into Home's Steps, 2 Rushed To Hospital

HOMEWOOD (KDKA)- Two women were rushed to the hospital after a violent crash in Homewood Thursday morning.

According to police, the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 7000-block of Hamilton Avenue.

Police say the car went through a fence, hit the steps of a home and then slammed into a tree.

When officers arrived on scene, one of the women was bleeding profusely from her head. The other woman had severe head injuries.

Both of them were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

The home that was hit did not suffer any structural damage and no one inside was hurt
