Mt. Lebanon Hit And Run Suspect Arrested

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Mt. Lebanon police say they have arrested the man responsible for a hit and run accident.

Anthony Flores, 49, has been arrested for a crash that severely injured a 28-year old woman.

Police say the woman was hit by the SUV Flores was driving and thrown 60-feet at the corner of Washington and Cedar Boulevard.

She suffered serious injuries including two broken legs, and a concussion.

Police say Flores did initially stop, but when a small crowd gathered he fled.

The woman was with a group of friends when she was hit, she was alone in the street, and crossing against the green light.

Flores has been charged with a felony for the accident, as well as tampering with physical evidence.
