Pine-Richland, Central Valley, South Fayette, Bishop Wuerl North Catholic Earn No. 1 Seeds

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- For the first time in its football history, the Pine-Richland Rams will be the top seed in AAAA in the WPIAL playoffs, which begin on Friday.

Pine-Richland will face 16 seed Connellsville.

In AAA, Central Valley is the No. 1 seed and will open against Laurel Highlands.

South Fayette is the top seeded team in AA.

The Lions opponent will be Waynesburg.

Bishop Wuerl North Catholic is the number one seed in A and will face Avella.

All 32 games will be played Friday at 7:30 p.m.
