Furry Tails: Pet Expo Coming To Town

Attention animal lovers! Have you heard?

Mark your calendars, the Pittsburgh Pet Expo is coming back to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown from Nov. 14-16.

Billed as "the largest pet and pet product event on the East Coast," this year's expo will be a pet lover's heaven. There will be 200 exhibitors, featuring the latest in pet products, fun giveaways, demonstrations and some great entertainment.

Notably, the "Wildlife Defenders" and the Splash Dogs and Super Retriever Series National Tour.

But this expo isn't just for dog lovers! There will, of course, be cute cats, beautiful birds, reptiles and exotic fish. It promises to be fun for the whole family.

Rocco Lamanna, the expo's production manager, calls Pittsburgh "one of the most pet-friendly communities in America."

"A lot of people don't realize all of the pet-friendly resources available to them in our community and our goal is to help get that information out there," said Lamanna in a press release. "With pets on a leash welcome to attend, it's a fun-filled three days for pet owners or those who would someday like to be one."

According to the press release, here's some of the attractions and exhibitors that will be at the expo:

  • Third Annual Pet Olympics
  • IJA Sanctioned Rescue Rodeo Grooming Competition Championship
