At 36, Harrison & Keisel Leading The Way On Defense
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - They likely would tell you that age only is a number.
At 36, there is no doubt the impact James Harrison and Brett Keisel have had on the Steelers' defense.
Harrison leads the way with four sacks, and Keisel's interception against the Texans on Oct. 20 helped ignite a once free-falling team that was trending towards its third consecutive season without a playoff berth.
"It does amaze me because I'm in year six and I'm thinking about how my body feels some days," Ramon Foster, 28, told 93.7 The Fan Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette for a story in Sunday's paper. "They're playing at a high level."
Only time will tell if Harrison and Keisel have enough in their tanks to carry the Steelers to the postseason, and beyond.
