Teen Arrested In Connection To 5 Greene Co. School Threats

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – After nearly a half-dozen bomb threats at a Greene County high school, state police say they have made an arrest in some of the threats.

Because the suspect is a juvenile, State Police aren't saying much about the case.

There have been five bomb threats in the Jefferson Morgan School District – two occurring at the end of the 2013-14 school year.

The district's nearly 900 students were evacuated for the first three threats, in the two most recent ones they were released early.

What State Police are saying about the recent developments is that a suspect has been arrest – a male teenage who was a student at Jefferson Morgan High School.

Investigators say the threats were written on bathroom walls, both the boys and girls bathrooms. In some cases, the threats were left on the floor.

No calls were ever made to the district.

State Police don't' believe the suspect in custody made all of the threats.

Police say the investigation is far from over.
