Browns' Head Coach Mike Pettine To Stick With Brian Hoyer
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - After being pulled last week against the Buffalo Bills in the team's 26-10 loss in favor of backup Johnny Manziel, Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine has announced that the team will stick with Hoyer this week against the Indianapolis Colts.
In his relief of Hoyer last week, Manziel led the team on an 8-play, 8-yard scoring drive which he topped off with a 10-yard touchdown run.
Hoyer threw two interceptions last week, his fifth in two weeks and has thrown 9 interceptions and just 4 touchdowns passes since he led the Browns to a 31-10 win over the Steelers on Oct. 12.
Hoyer has gone 10-5 in 15 starts for the Browns dating back to last year.
