Johnny Manziel To Replace Brian Hoyer As Cleveland Browns Starter

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - According to Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer, the Cleveland Browns will start Johnny Manziel over Brian Hoyer this week.

Still alive in the fight for the AFC North at 7-6, the Browns will turn to their rookie draft pick to try and turn things around after losing three of their last four games.

In those four games, former starter Brian Hoyer was 75-151 for 984 yards with one touchdown and 8 interceptions. On the year, Hoyer is 236 of 426 for 3,196 yards with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with four fumbles lost.

On the year in limited action, Manziel has completed five of nine passes for 63 yards and has rushed for 13 yards and a touchdown.

The Browns will finish the season home against Cincinnati and then on the road in Carolina and Baltimore.
