Furry Tails: Wispy & Greta Are Searching For Good Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Wispy

Animal Friends

Beautiful Wispy is looking for a loving forever home! She needs a place where she can both explore as well as curl up and relax.

Animal Friends says:
Wispy is 3-years-old and a beautiful gray color that reminds you of a rich dark pewter. She currently resides in one of our free roam rooms and seems to get along well with the other cats. Wispy is hoping for a window that she can call her own with birds and squirrels she can happily watch. Come in and meet Wispy today!

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Greta

Animal Rescue League

She may seem shy at first, but don't let Greta fool you… she just loves attention and affection! She needs a loving family that will scratch her ears and give her lots of cuddles!

Animal Rescue League says:
When you approach Greta's cage, you'll see her looking scared, probably up on her shelf, doing her best to fade into the wall. But it's just poor Greta's reaction to all the changes in her life. Losing her home, trying to live on the streets, then being stuck in a cage. If you are a little bit patient with her, you'll find a darling, cuddly, snuggly lap cat who loves attention and affection. Just look at her rolling over for love in her picture! She particularly loves having her ears scratched.

Greta looks so frightened in her cage, and she's a dark cat in a bottom cage, so people keep overlooking her! Don't overlook this darling girl. Come down and meet Greta today, and see what a lovely lap kitty she is.

To find out more about how to adopt Greta, visit the Animal Rescue League's website at this link!

For more information on the other adoptable animals at the shelter, visit www.animalrescue.org. The Animal Rescue League is located at 6620 Hamilton Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pa.
