Ramon Foster: Bengals' D Impressive Against Broncos

PITTSBURGH (KDKA 93-7 The Fan) - Pittsburgh Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined "The Fan Morning Show" in his regular weekly spot Tuesday before their game against the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC North title.

Ramon was impressed by the Bengals' win Monday night over the Broncos.

"They took advantage of the Broncos (Monday) in the sense that they had them backed up and they did everything they did to keep them down. So, hats off to them. Their defense played lights out," Foster said.

Foster was asked if it makes a difference to the players that they know the scenario for playing a home game.

"To say we'd rather be at home, that's a definite. But, we've won on the road and it's going to be a playoff atmosphere no matter what," Foster said. "You can say it's home field advantage or you have your home crowd with you. But, the team that you're playing, that the away team is doing everything in their power to upset you at home. So, whether we're at home or whether we're away, our goal is to just get a win, period."

Foster was asked about his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty Sunday following a field goal in the win against the Chiefs.

"I didn't understand where his other side of trying to be the bad guy came from. He literally came up to me in pregame walkthrough and was talking to me, so he flipped sides, I guess," Foster said. "The ball was kicked, it was through the uprights, and he's standing over one of my guys, just staring him down. I thought that was taunting myself, but we'll just live with that. It's behind us now. Whatever happens to me or whatever happens to him, we'll deal with that."

Foster joins "The Fan Morning Show" Tuesdays at 8 a.m.
