Hobson: Bengals Can't Beat Steelers In A Shootout Sunday Night

PITTSBURGH (KDKA 93-7 The Fan)- Geoff Hobson, editor of Bengals.com, joined Bob Pompeani to preview the Steelers-Bengals game Sunday night.

Hobson said that the Bengals need to play the type of game at Heinz Field like they did in 2009 when they won 18-12, and in 2012 when they won 13-10.

"All of this stuff about they're going to have to win a shootout with Ben (Roethlisberger). Can't do it. They can't win a shootout with Ben down there," Hobson said. "They're going to have to play it like '09 and '12, play a real mistake-free, good defensive game."

Hobson said that running back Jeremy Hill has been key to the Bengals success down the stretch.

"Hill has been their guy. He's their closer, he's Aroldis Chapman," Hobson said. "They've won five of their last six games with Hill being huge in the fourth quarter, either with a long run or with a series of runs."
