Furry Tails: Roxy Is Searching For A Good Home

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Roxy

Animal Rescue League

This well-behaved pup is in need of a new loving forever home! If you're looking for a couch potato to curl up with and catch up on your favorite shows, Roxy might be the girl for you!

Animal Rescue League says:
"Roxy came to the shelter because her owners had a new baby and Roxy was not fond of that baby. Because of her reaction to the new baby, we are recommending that Roxy go to an adult home only. She is okay with other dogs but is not fond of cats. She liked to chase them but never hurt them. Roxy lived with the same family since she was a pup. Roxy is well behaved in the house and her previous owners considered her to be "lazy and a couch potato". She knows many commands and is eager to sit and give you her paw for a treat. She has been crated before and did fine. They said she was housebroken but we always recommend that you give a refresher course once she gets into her new environment. Roxy is used to being a part of a family and isn't sure why she is in the shelter with strangers. She has a sturdy Bulldog body with a sweet Beagle face. She weighs 63 pounds!!"
