Furry Tails: Glimmer & Bella Are Searching For Good Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Glimmer

Animal Friends
This beautiful bunny needs a loving forever home where she'll be able to shine! Glimmer loves to play and have her ears rubbed!

According to Animal Friends:
"Glimmer is a rock star of a rabbit. She is a 1-year-old Angora rabbit, which means her fur is as fabulous as she is! Glimmer will need a dedicated owner to keep up with her grooming schedule and keep her looking her best! Glimmer is well-behaved at the groomers and cooperates with brushing at home. She is a young, inquisitive bun and loves having her ears rubbed. She enjoys mango treats and likes throwing her toys around her kennel."

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

According to the Animal Rescue League:
"Bella arrived at our shelter along with another dog and cat because their owner passed away. We don't know much about her background or her exact age but we estimate she's around 5 years old. She weighs 77 pounds and is a strong dog best walked with a harness. During the check-up by our vet, we noticed Bella had some skin modules. These have been removed and she does have a few shaved spots on her right rear side. She seems like a friendly, affectionate dog. As we get to know her better, we'll update her bio again."

To find out more about how to adopt Bella, visit the Animal Rescue League's website at this link!

For more information on the other adoptable animals at the shelter, visit www.animalrescue.org. The Animal Rescue League is located at 6620 Hamilton Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pa.
