Police: Toy Gun Used In Armstrong Co. Home Invasion

FORD CITY (KDKA) – Police are investigating a home invasion in Armstrong County, where a suspect used a toy gun.

According to police, the incident happened in the 1100-block of Fifth Avenue in Ford City around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two suspects gained entry to the home by kicking in the back door. They confronted the victim in the living room and demanded money.

One suspect displayed a gun and grabbed the victim's wallet.

The victim tripped one of the suspects as they were trying to leave and they dropped the gun, which turned out to be a toy.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction and no arrests have been made.
