Long List Of Celebs In Town To Make New Holiday Movie

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Maybe the new movie filming in Pittsburgh has brought all the snow!

If not the snow, then it's at least bringing the stars to town.

Tentatively titled "Let It Snow," the new comedy by CBS Films features a star-studded cast, including Academy Award-winners Alan Arkin, Diane Keaton and Marisa Tomei, as well as Academy Award-nominee June Squibb and Golden Globe-winner John Goodman.

"The film is called 'Let It Snow' for CBS Features. We're thrilled to welcome them here; they've never actually shot here before," Dawn Keezer, of the Pittsburgh Film Office, said on Pittsburgh Today Live.

The movie is also bringing Amanda Seyfried back to town. She was here last year with Russell Crowe and Aaron Paul shooting the movie, "Fathers and Daughters."

The movie also stars Ed Helms, Anthony Mackie, Jon Tenney, Olivia Wilde and more.

Last week, Wilde sent out a tweet to Pittsburghers asking about things to do around town.

The film is described as a holiday comedy following "exasperated members of an extended family as they attempt to gather for their annual Holiday celebration," and Christmas Eve chaos unfolds.

"Let It Snow" is being directed by Jessie Nelson and the acclaimed T Bone Burnett is serving as the film's executive music producer.

The movie has begun filming. It is set to open in theaters on Nov. 13, 2015.

A passerby to the set on Monday tweeted out this photo of the crew hard at work at Pamela's P&G Diner in Millvale.
