N.Y. Attorney General's Office Releases Supplement Testing Findings

A number of store brand supplements are not what they claim to be.

New York's attorney general is ordering GNC, Target, Walmart and Walgreens to remove certain "bogus' herbal supplements from their shelves.

He says tests revealed either they did not contain the herbal ingredient on the label, or they contain unlisted ingredients.

But, people in the industry say the DNA testing that was used is flawed.

The New York Attorney General's Office has posted each supplement it tested, and what it found, on its website, which you can see here: http://on.ny.gov/1BSm53a

All four retail chains say they will comply with the order and take appropriate action.
