Police Investigating Fatal West Mifflin Shooting
WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA) – Allegheny County Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting early Thursday morning in West Mifflin.
According to police, 20-year-old Deandre Smith is facing charges of homicide and weapons violations in the fatal shooting that closed down Lebanon Church Road between Buttermilk Hollow and Camp Hollow Roads. It all started around 3:30 a.m.

It was there where an African-American male was found in the back seat of a grey sedan. Allegheny County Police said he had been shot multiple times in the side.
He has been identified as 19-year-old Garrick Marshman of North Braddock.
Marshman was most recently in the news when he was charged in October with two other men in connection with a heroin and gun case in Salem Township, Westmoreland County.
In that case, Marshman faced two felony drug charges, a felony weapons charge and a felony conspiracy charge. He was ordered to stand trial on those charges and was scheduled to be formally arraigned next week, a day after what would have been his 20th birthday.
Police shut down the area where the body was found and used search dogs in the manhunt, but at the time they didn't have any suspects.
Two police officers from West Mifflin arrived at county headquarters earlier on Thursday with an African-American male, who was not handcuffed. All of them went inside.
Smith was taken to the Allegheny County Jail after his arrest to await his arraignment.
