Teen Injured After 12-Foot Fall In Beaver Co.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A teen was flown to the hospital after falling from a cliff in Beaver County.

The girl fell about 12 feet at Buttermilk Falls in Homewood – a small town just off the Turnpike near Beaver Falls.

The 14-year-old was walking with a group of friends when she lost her footing on some ice and fell off a ledge.

She was taken to Children's Hospital with head and neck injuries, but she was alert at the scene.

Five fire departments helped with the rescue.
