Steelers Agree To Terms With Two Pending Free Agents
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - While other teams are out agreeing to terms with other teams free agents, the Steelers are busy locking up some of their own guys.
The Steelers announced on Monday the signings of outside linebacker Arthur Moats to a 3-year deal and tight end Matt Spaeth to a 2-year deal.
Moats announced the deal before the team made it official.
Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette has the details on Moats contract.
In his first year with the Steelers in 2014, Moats put up 23 total tackles and 4 sacks in mostly a reserve role.
Speath meanwhile has played backup to Heath Miller during his time with the Steelers recording just 3 catches for 46 yards and one touchdown in 2014, but playing a much larger role as a blocking tight end.
