Classes Cancelled After Fire Damages Rogers Elementary School
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to Rogers Elementary School in Shaler Saturday morning.
Reportedly the fire started in the boiler room of the school and was contained there.
Power and water was shut off to the building.
The school will be closed to students Tuesday because of the fire. Officials say students already had Monday off for Spring Break.
However, teachers are still expected to report to school Tuesday.
The fire marshal is investigating.
