Report: Antonio Brown To Skip Offseason Workouts, Wants New Deal

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown will reportedly skip offseason workouts in an attempt to get a new deal from the team.

According to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo, Brown will sit out the workouts and may holdout from minicamp and training camp.

In June of 2012, Brown signed an extension with the Steelers that would keep him in Pittsburgh through the 2017 season. The deal was worth $42 million.

Brown had 129 receptions for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns this past season for the Steelers.

Those numbers were all up from his 2013 totals of 110 receptions for 1,499 yards and eight touchdowns.
