Report: Steelers Host Four More Draft Prospects

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – According to Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com, the Steelers brought in four more college prospects they're looking at possibly drafting.

Unlike any other round of visits the Steelers have held at their facilities, this one involved four players and concludes the team's pre-draft, prospect visits.

The Steelers are known to be looking for cornerback help in this year's draft, so it should come as no surprise that they hosted three cornerback draft prospects on Monday.

As Larrabee points out, one of the visitors, Alabama safety Landon Collins, could be the Steelers answer to who will replace Troy Polamalu.  Collins is viewed as the top safety prospect in this year's draft.

Also visiting the Steelers was Ole Miss defensive end Preston Smith, Tennessee-Chattanooga outside linebacker Davis Tull and Kansas cornerback Dexter McDonald.

Smith is viewed as a second round talent, Tull a 3rd or 4th round talent and McDonald a 7th round choice at best.

The two other players visiting were Marshall's cornerback Darryl Roberts and Rice cornerback Bryce Callahan.
