2 Injured In W. Va. Fireworks Accident

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two people were hurt in a fireworks accident near Morgantown, W. Va.

Emergency dispatchers say the people were playing with fireworks at a house on Goodwin Hill Road.

Two men, one from Fayette County, were severely injured by a mortar firework that exploded, officials said.

Both men were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Their injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Police are continuing to investigate.
