Car Crashes Into Auto Parts Store, 2 People Injured

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One person was injured after a car crashed into an auto parts store in Overbrook.

It happened just before 5 p.m. at the Advanced Auto Parts store on Saw Mill Run Boulevard.

According to police, a 60 year old man was driving outbound on Route 51 when he drove through a bush, into the parking lot and then about 30 feet inside the auto parts store.

A customer inside the store was injured and taken to a local hospital. Another customer was struck while exiting the store. Both are in stable condition.

The driver wasn't hurt.

 

Pittsburgh Police are looking into the cause of the crash.
