New Owner Of Old Tin Angel Restaurant Asking Public For Name Suggestions

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A landmark Pittsburgh restaurant that closed earlier this year is getting a new life.

The Tin Angel on Mount Washington had been open for decades but closed in May.

Now the owners of Roman Bistro in Forest Hills have bought the place and plan to open a second restaurant at the site this October.

"We always dreamed of being on Mount Washington and here we are," said Mike Roman.

He says they'll give the place a cosmetic makeover and add tables on an outdoor space. They'll also create a new menu.

"We're going to bring craft beers here. Put a nice tap system in. We'll do wines," said Roman. "The dishes are going to be a little bit smaller here, and our price point is going to be very similar [to Roman Bistro], so you're going to get a nice meal for $24 to $26 right here on Mount Washington."

Roman is also asking for suggestions on what to name the new place. He says people can contact him on Twitter: @RomanBistro.

The person with the winning suggestion will win dinner for four on New Year's Eve.
