LEETSDALE (KDKA) -- A local police chief is the target of a criminal investigation.
Sources tell KDKA the mayor of Leetsdale has put Police Chief James Santucci on paid administrative leave.
The mayor refused to answer any questions about the chief on Tuesday.
He referred KDKA to the borough solicitor who confirmed the suspension but wouldn't say why.
Sources tell us Santucci is the focus of a broad criminal investigation that has been going on for some time.
