Drive-By Shooting Leaves 2 Injured In Hill District

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in the Hill District that sent two men to the hospital overnight.

The shooting happened around 12:15 a.m. in the 2400-block of Bedford Avenue.

According to police, the victims were standing outside in a courtyard when the gunfire started. Police say it came from a gold- or silver-colored vehicle that was headed outbound.

When officers arrived, they found the victims alert and conscious at the scene.

A parked car was also struck by bullets.

The victims were taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital where they were last listed in stable condition.

They have not been identified.
