SeatGeek Ranks NFL's Most Popular Road Teams
We already know Steelers Nation spans the globe. Now, there are numbers to prove it.
SeatGeek calculated which teams are the most popular - based on their impact on road game ticket prices.
It found that the Green Bay Packers are number one. The Steelers came in second, increasing the cost of opponent's ticket prices by 53 percent.
The Steelers are also involved in one of the hottest matchups of the season.
According to Seat Geek, ticket prices for the Steelers-Seahawks game are going for as much as $420.
Here's a look at the top 10 teams ranked in order of how much they increase the typical cost of a ticket on the road:
- Green Bay Packers – 57 percent
- Pittsburgh Steelers – 53 percent
- New England Patriots – 45 percent
- Dallas Cowboys – 41 percent
- Denver Broncos – 37 percent
- Seattle Seahawks – 32 percent
- Chicago Bears – 32 percent
- New York Giants – 16 percent
- Philadelphia Eagles – 11 percent
- San Francisco 49ers – 11 percent
Honorable mention:
No. 30 – Cleveland Browns – the Browns actually have a negative impact on tickets. How negative? Oh, about 19 percent.
