Police Look For Man Who Grabbed Girl In Brentwood

BRENTWOOD (KDKA) – Police are looking for a man who grabbed a girl, trying to restrain her, in Brentwood.

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, when the man grabbed the girl from behind. However, they say he fled when the girl screamed.

Police are asking people to be on alert in the areas of Brevard, Pyramid and Waidler.

It's still unclear if what happened an attempted criminal attack, police say. They haven't received any reports of similar instances.

Some in the community are a little nervous.

"I was totally shocked and appalled that it happened so close to where I live," said resident Joan Schlick.

The man is described as white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and slender. He was wearing all black clothing with a dark colored baseball cap and a purple ski mask – as well as a blue Pitt Panthers backpack.
