Woman Hit With Beer Bottles In Brutal Attack
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman said two women assaulted her outside of a Westmoreland County bar, hitting her in the face with beer bottles.
She says the attack was so violent, she now has to get plastic surgery.
State Police are investigating, but no charges have yet been filed.
It happened outside of Joey's The Edge in Export, spilling into the parking lot.
The victim is Amber Watson. She's had several stitches in her forehead, one eye is swollen shut and she has a concussion.
There could be aggravated assault charges filed in this case.
The owners of The Edge are very upset and say what happened is unusual. However, the two women accused in the assault have allegedly caused trouble at the bar in the past.
The owners of the bar also say they're helping the victim.
