Kennywood Wants To Say Thank You To First Responders

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – First responders are getting a special thank you from Kennywood today.

Area police officers, firefighters and other emergency service and military personnel can visit the park purchasing discounted tickets for themselves, as well as their friends and family.

First responders can buy tickets for $18 and up to four more at $25 each.

"We at Kennywood appreciate the sacrifices and risks First Responders take on a daily basis," says Kennywood General Manager Jerome Gibas. "We want to show these men and women our gratitude with a day just for them."

Kennywood will also be hosting demonstrations on CPR, fire safety and K9 officers.
