Pittsburgh Marathon Registration Opens Sept. 1

Registration opens Tuesday for the 2016 Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon.

The marathon weekend will be April 29 through May 1.

More than 40,000 people are expected to participate in the marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, 5K run and kids' marathon-- as well as the pet walk and toddler trot.

Online registration opens at 9 a.m.
