Running Car Stolen From Lawrenceville Gas Station

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Police are looking for a man they way stole a car from gas station in Lawrenceville.

The Sunoco gas station and convenience store on Butler Street in Lawrenceville was a busy place Friday night.

But one shopper ran into the store, mistakenly left her car running and found her car was gone once she went back outside.

"I was balling my eyes out, all of kid's stuff was in there," said the woman who didn't want to be identified.

"I was enraged," she added. "Someone just stole my vehicle."

A close look at surveillance tape shows the man in the store just before he exits and takes the car. It all happened so quickly. But the car owner says the damage is deep because she only had liability insurance on their recent purchase.

"I just want my car," she said. "I don't have full coverage."
