2 Critically Injured In McKeesport Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two people were injured in a shooting in McKeesport.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Highland Avenue.
Police say two men were shot on Highland Avenue and one ran to the D&T Country Corral Bar on Bowman Avenue where he was found.
"I opened the front door, right here, in the middle of the street, there was a kid shot," said one neighbor, "laying there, bleeding out of the right side, I guess. Two girls were screaming over him. It was terrifying. I ran inside, locked the door and woke everybody up."
Another neighbor said she heard four or five gunshots and several men were arguing or yelling around the time of the incident.
Police say they were both taken to the hospital in critical condition.
One man was reportedly shot in the chest and the other shot in the head.
Allegheny County Homicide is investigating.
