Three-Alarm Fire Damages House In Castle Shannon

CASTLE SHANNON (KDKA) - Fire crews rushed to a burning home in Castle Shannon early Monday morning.

The fire started just before 4 a.m. at a house on McRoberts Road.

We're told the homeowner had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire was brought under control by around 4:30 a.m. It did not spread to any nearby homes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The fire closed McRoberts Road from Sixth Street to Grove Road.
