Man Killed In Crash Along Route 422 In Butler County

BUTLER TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a deadly crash along Route 422 in Butler County.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Butler Township, near the Route 422 and Route 8 interchange.

Butler Township Police identify the victim as Thomas Mosely of Butler.

Police say Mosely appeared to lose control of his car, went through a guide rail, and went about 200 feet over an embankment.

Mosely was pronounced dead at the scene. The road had to be closed while crews cleared the scene. It has since reopened.

State Police are investigating the crash.

The road was shut down for hours while police investigated.
