Man Seen Lurking Around Unity Township Homes

UNITY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Some Westmoreland County residents are on edge after a man has been spotted lurking around some homes.

Residents along Club Manor Road had been complaining about noises outside of their homes at night. One homeowner decided to catch whatever it was on a wild game camera.

But when the camera clicked, it didn't capture a bear or deer.

"Low and behold, there was someone outside of their residence," said State Police Tpr. Steve Limani. "A white male, you can see prowling around the residence."

A closer look at the photo and he's right there, staring into the camera.

"We believe that same individual has been prowling around the area several different times," said Limani.
A few residents reported seeing the man, but for whatever reason he's paid visits to one home five times, sometimes with a flashlight.

So what is he up to?

"There's a multitude of reasons – all bad," says Limani.

"Whether this person was going to commit a property crime, or an invasion of privacy, both are very alarming," he added.

Anyone with information, or who spots the man, is asked to call Unity Township Police.
