Police: Mom Brings Children To Sell Heroin

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A local mother is behind bars after police officers say she took her children with her to a drug deal.

Ashley Uncapher of Jeanette, was charged after Greensburg Police say she took her 2, and 3-year-old children to the drug deal.

An employee of a nearby business told police they witnessed a drug transaction on Penn Avenue near the state office building.

When officers arrived they found Uncapher in a car with the young children.

Officers say they could smell marijuana coming from the car.

They searched the car and found 31 bags of heroin, 7 cell phones, a .40 caliber handgun, a 9 mm handgun, 71 rounds of ammunition, $1507 in cash, and a small amount of marijuana.

Uncapher was taken into custody and admitted to making sale of heroin just before police arrived.

She's been charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Small Amount.
