Police Investigating Attempted Luring In Hempfield Township
HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Police are looking for a man who tried to lure a 5-year-old girl into his pickup truck in Westmoreland County.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Western Avenue and Baughman Road in Hempfield Township.
Police say a white man in his 30's approached the girl and tried to lure her into the truck.
He's described as clean shaven with long, black hair pulled into a pony tail. Police say the man was wearing a black hoodie and was wearing a black baseball cap backwards.
The man was driving a black Dodge Ram extended cab pickup truck with chrome trim.
