Chase Reaches Speeds Of 120 MPH In Indiana County

INDIANA COUNTY (KDKA)- A Hastings man is behind bars after leading police on a high-speed chase on his motorcycle.

Police say 22-year-old Brennan Kline was committing numerous traffic violations while driving along State Route 56 in Seward Borough. When police tried to pull him over, he sped away on his motorcycle.

State police say he reached speeds of 120 miles per hour along State Route 56. For safety reasons, the pursuit was called off. State police had set up near the corner of State Route 56 and State Route 954, where they observed Kline fly by at at least 100 miles per hour.

The pursuit resumed at this point, and a rolling roadblock was set up near State Route 954 and State Route 422. During the pursuit, police say Kline illegally passed several vehicles and ran three red lights.

At the intersection of State Route 954 and School Street in Indiana, they say Kline got off his motorcycle and attempted to run from state police. He was caught a short time later.

Kline has been charged with fleeing and eluding and recklessly endangering others.
