Furry Tails: Pearl & Halah Are Waiting For Good Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Pearl

Western Pa. Humane Society
Pearl is a sweet girl who just loves people! She loves to have fun too… she even recently got a pedicure! But now she needs a loving family to make her life complete!

Western Pa. Humane Society Pet Profile:
I am a very loving girl that is in search of her fur-ever home. I was transferred to the shelter and little is known about my history. I do know that I am a social girl that loves to be around her human companions! Staff says that I am a smart pooch and will do well in obedience classes. Obedience classes will also help you and I build a strong bond! My ideal home would be an active one with plenty of space and things to do! I must go to a teen/adult home due to my food scores (Please ask a staff member what that means). I'm a little unsure of other dogs and it is unknown how I would do with cats. If you have other animal friends at home please ask a staff member on how we should be properly introduced.

I am a ton of fun and in search of a ton of love, is that with you? Please come visit me at the shelter today! I can't wait to see you!

Halah

Animal Friends
This kitty really needs a second chance at a loving home! Halah is a loving cat with a playful spirit and a warm personality.

Animal Friends Pet Profile:
Halah is an old girl with a calm personality who just wants to love someone. She was brought to Animal Friends because her previous owner could no longer take care of her. Of course, Halah didn't understand this and initially was shy and nervous around new people. She has made great progress, and now greets volunteers and staff with a friendly meow and playful head butt. She is a curious girl with a desire to be around people and receive affection. If Halah sounds like the sweet cat you've been looking for, talk to an Adoption Counselor today!

Someone loves Halah so much, they've underwritten her adoption. So, she's truly priceless!

Juilet

Animal Friends

Finally, this dog at Animal Friends has recently come to my attention again. Furry Tails featured her way back in 2013 and she's still at the shelter now… so many years without a loving family! She's a special dog who needs a special family!

Animal Friends Pet Profile:
Juliet is a 4-year-old Husky mix whose intelligence matches any dog who ever lived at Animal Friends. Juliet has very special needs and needs to go to a home that can meet those needs.

She really does enjoy other dogs and the friendlier and more social the dog, the better! Even though Juliet will love you and appreciate what you do for her, we feel she may always be fearful of people she doesn't know. She has a very high prey drive and is not able to live with cats. Juliet also needs a home without children, as they might leave a door or gate open.

If you are a special kind of person who is looking for a special kind of dog, Juliet might just be the girl for you. Someone believes in Juliet so much that they have sponsored her adoption! She truly is priceless!
